Is your hair looking hungry? By that I mean are you suffering from dry, sun-damaged and easily breaking locks? If so, don't worry I usually go through a period of unstoppable frizz during the hotter seasons. I tried out some affordable products that will help to nourish, add volume and give a healthy shine to your curls, BLISS!

First up is the heavenly smelling, Garnier Ultimate Blends Hair Food Banana & Shea 3 in 1 Mask. It's on offer for £3.50 opposed to its full price of £7 (head to your nearest Wilko asap).

Everybody knows that natural is best but it can become tedious when trying to mix together your own hair concoctions. This product does the work for you. It can be used as a hair mask, conditioner and leave-in conditioner (I use it for all three). I wash my hair with DevaCurl products and use this on top but if it's not a hair wash day, I will still use this as a leave-in conditioner to keep my curls moisturised.

The key things to know about this hair wear is that it does not contain silicone, it is vegan and contains 98% natural ingredients in its formula including plant oils, olive, soybean, sunflower, rosemary, coconut, avocado and Shea butter. It's generally quite light weight and it has an intense smell of banana, so as long as you love the fruit it's a winner. If you aren't keen on banana though the mask does come in other fruit flavours too.

I love my hair to feel extra silky, so I add another boost of Cantu's Shea butter leave-in conditioning repair cream. The smell of this product will always have me hooked but I try and use it mainly on my split ends and bleached areas.

To lock in my curls, ensure definition and fight against frizz I use an anti-humidity formula. Aphogee's Curlific! Curl definer is my favourite and I use a pea size amount (a little go's a LONG way).
