During Christmas I wanted to try a dark but subtle glitter combo. Through experimenting using Sleek's violet tones and Urban Decay's bold black, I created a glam look great for special occasions. Shade 'Bliss in Barcelona' is a deep purple and is beautiful fanned out into a slight smokey eye. 

To create the look I used purple heavily over the majority of my eyes. I then took a red/brown shade 'Propose in Prague' adding a layer within the crease and finished with 'Blackout', blending all shades together and darkening the ends.

The shimmer lipstick is great if you want a light colour and a lot of shine. I felt that I needed to layer the texture up and it would have looked better on top of another lipstick as a coat rather than base but it did help to even out the dark shades in the look and was easy to apply.
