International Women’s Day (#IWD) took place on Friday the 8th of March. Following the celebration, Toronto held its annual rally and march in support of the women’s rights movement.

I wanted to look deeper into an issue that affects many women in the world of fashion, Shadeism. Also known as colourism. I spoke to Nicole Lucas-Richardson founder of, Good Form and Danica Hooper fashion student at Ryerson, who met me before going to judge at a model casting event.
